Problem-solving Beyond the Classroom 5 is aligned with the Singapore My Pals are Here! Maths 3rd Edition curriculum and is filled with teaching tips to guide students through challenging problems. It also includes cross-referencing links in each unit to help pupils establish connections to concepts learned in the textbook. Each unit begins with a worked example problem which is then followed by a set of practice questions. Students learn a 4-step progress to problem-solving (Understand the problem/decide on an approach/solve the problem using the approach/check the solution) which they can then apply themselves while solving the practice questions.

Please note that this series uses the metric system, British spellings, and references items from Singapore that US-based students may be unfamiliar with.
