PreScripts Cursive Words and Drawing: Math Terms

The Prescripts series from Classical Conversations is a pre-writing handwriting copywork course for children that refines cursive handwriting skills through copying meaningful content.

Prescripts: Cursive Letters and Drawing: Math Terms introduces children to the building blocks of cursive writing: letters, then words, then simple sentences, through copying definitions of important math terms related to the operations of arithmetic, basic shapes, measurements, and number forms. Terms are arranged in alphabetical order, and drawing lessons are sprinkled throughout the book. Beginning with simple forms, students will progress to more complicated drawings of mathematics concepts in nature, such as symmetry and patterns. Children will see God's handiwork as they learn about His mathematical systems and beauty.

Pages can be reproduced in-family; reproducible consumable workbook. At one page per year, there are enough pages for a complete school year (4-5 pages/week). 145 pages, softcover, spiralbound top. NIV verses used.

There are four levels of the Prescripts series: Orange (Cursive Letters & Coloring), Red (Cursive Words & Drawing), Green (Cursive Sentences and Art Lessons), and Blue (Cursive Passages & Illuminations). This book is part of the Red series, which is appropriate for ages 5-10 / Grades K-5.
