William T. Cefalu, M.D., is a clinician, researcher, and the director of the NIH Center for the Study of Botanicals and Metabolic Syndrome. He is also the Douglas L. Manship Senior Professor of Diabetes and chief of the Division of Nutrition and Chronic Diseases at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. An internationally known speaker, Cefalu has been quoted The New York Times and other publications. He lives in Baton Rouge.
